Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and BusinessHeadshots.ai. By using the site or creating an account, you accept them. The short version: upload only photos of yourself, use your headshots however you like, and don't abuse the service.

1. The service

BusinessHeadshots.ai generates professional-style headshot images from photos you provide, using AI. Results are AI-generated: they aim to preserve your likeness, but appearance, quality, and style can vary between generations, and no specific result is guaranteed.

2. Your account

You must provide a valid email address and keep your password secure - you're responsible for activity on your account. One free headshot and one free preview are included per person; creating multiple accounts to farm free generations is not permitted, and we use technical measures to prevent it.

3. Credits and payments

• One credit generates one headshot image.
• Credits are sold in packs, processed securely by Stripe, and are valid for 12 months from purchase (oldest credits are used first).
• If a generation fails on our side, the credit is automatically refunded to your balance.
• Locked previews unlock automatically when you purchase credits.

4. Refunds

If you purchased a credit pack and haven't used any of its credits, you can request a full refund within 14 days of purchase by emailing us. Credits that have been spent on generations are non-refundable, since each generation incurs real processing costs.

5. Your photos and your headshots

• You own your content. Your uploaded photos remain yours, and you own the headshots we generate for you, including for commercial use (LinkedIn, company sites, press, and so on).
• You grant us a limited licence to store and process your photos solely to provide the service - nothing more (see the Privacy Policy).
• Upload only photos of yourself (or of someone who has given you explicit permission). Generating images of another person without their consent is strictly prohibited.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• impersonate another person or create misleading likenesses of others;
• use the service for unlawful, fraudulent, or deceptive purposes, including fake identity documents or profiles;
• attempt to circumvent free-tier limits, rate limits, or security measures;
• resell or provide the service to third parties as your own.

Some platforms and contexts require you to disclose that an image is AI-generated - that responsibility is yours.

7. Our content

The BusinessHeadshots.ai name, site design, and software are our property. These terms don't grant you any rights to them beyond normal use of the service.

8. Termination

You can stop using the service at any time and request account deletion by email. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms, with unused paid credits refunded unless the breach involves fraud or abuse.

9. Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

10. Changes

We may update these terms as the service evolves. Material changes will be announced by email or in-app notice, and continuing to use the service after that means you accept the updated terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law rules. You and we agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Delaware for any dispute that is not resolved informally first.

If you are outside the United States, you use the service on your own initiative and are responsible for complying with your own local laws.
